I am greatly honored to serve in office of the great Professional body Kenya Society of Physiotherapists (KSP) in this great land, Kenya. A profession that has had many milestones in the history of Kenya. One once limited in scope of professionalist to a land of opportunities for Kenyans and the region. From a free to all practice and training to one under the watch of Physiotgerapy Council of Kenya. To all our registered members, thank you for your contribution in kind and your subscriptions. As we yet again host a WCPT regional Scientific Conference in our land, I wish all Physiotherapists a blessed time in this year when there would be change of guard in the Kenya Society of Physiotherapists. To our guests, welcome to Kenya, a land full of our heritage and hospitable prodessionals. God bless Physiotherapy and Kenya. The secretary general Note

Physiotherapy training was started in 1968 at the MTC Nairobi as a diploma course currently there are two thousand physiotherapists working in public and private hospitals, rehabilitation centre, special schools and private practitioners. The ever challenging health care demands required professionals with higher level of training.
Ksp stakeholders and collaborators made it possible for bachelor’s degree programs at both JKUAAT AND Moi University
K.S.P. Is mandated to oversee the welfare of physiotherapists in the country through establishment of strong networks with other professional bodies locally and internationally. It is a paid up member of world confederation of physiotherapists Africa / world (WCPT A), ASSOCIATION of professional society in East Africa (APSEA), KHPS, EAC PT Kenya Health Care Federation. All these are indicators of a dynamic profession moving in the right direction.
I take this opportunity to thank all colleagues for their cooperation and entreat them to actively participate in the contributions articles of the website.
